The aim of the group is to foster a love of Shakespeare's works, life and times through his plays. Members are encouraged but not expected to introduce a favourite play for general discussion which presents an opportunity for a reading of relevant parts for contextual purposes.
We meet on the third Wednesday of the month in the vestibule of The Methodist Church, High Street, Thornbury from 2.00 to 4.00pm. The fee of £1.50 includes refreshments.
The group is fully subscribed. Prospective members are placed on a waiting list.
