The group intends to hold meetings to discuss all modes of transport with probably a greater emphasis on all aspects of Railway operation - historical, engineering, rolling stock, stations etc and of course, modernisation to the present day operations.

Talks on other forms of Transport, include aviation and canals, will be scheduled when suitable speakers become available.

The group has an active membership with between 18-22 regular attendees with room for many more.

We meet at the Alveston Methodist Church Hall on the last Friday evening of the month unless stated in my round-robin communication with the membership.

Meetings start at 19.30 and finish at 21.30. Coffee, tea and biscuits are available during a short interval.
