We meet on Wednesdays, at Thornbury Leisure Centre at 11.40 with play starting at 12noon till 2.00, the current cost is £6.65 per 2hr session. The bowls season runs from late September until mid/end March and the price alters per new session and is set by the Leisure Centre for U3A.

We are an informal group, of all ranges of experience and we welcome new comers. If you have never played before then courses are available at the Leisure centre to learn. We do not teach how to play bowls in the group so newcomers must have a smattering of the game.

Bowls shoes must be worn on the green. Spare shoes may be available from the Leisure Centre (may not be right size though) but no bowls are available, however, the group do have about 3 or 4 sets available for use.
