Book Group 2 chooses both fact and fiction titles for our reading. Generally we alternate fact and fiction which leads to varied and fascinating reading. We do not always agree on the texts we read but this generally leads to stimulating discussions which often lead us into even more intriguing avenues!

We have chosen our mixed selection of fact and fiction until January 2027! Our choices include The Art of Travel by Alain de Botton, Orbital by Samantha Harvey and All mong the Barley by Alice Roberts.

We meet in the vestibule of the Methodist Church in Thornbury usually on the first Monday of the month from 2.00pm. However, in months when there is a bank holiday Monday we often move our meeting date. Please check with the leader if you intend to visit us for the first time in a month with a BH.
