Book Group 2 chooses both fact and fiction titles for our reading. Generally we alternate fact and fiction which leads to varied and fascinating reading. We do not always agree on the texts we read but this generally leads to stimulating discussions which often lead us into even more intriguing avenues!

We have chosen our mixed selection of fact and fiction until February 2025! Our choices include The Hidden Life of Trees, Snow Falling on Cedars, Islands of Abandonment and a version of Northanger Abbey by Val McDermid.

We meet in the vestibule of the Methodist Church in Thornbury usually on the first Monday of the month from 2.00pm. However, in months when there is a bank holiday Monday we often move our meeting date. Please check with the leader if you intend to visit us for the first time in a month with a BH.
