As with the other Wine Groups, we also appreciate, or are learning to appreciate, a variety of wines from different parts of the world in a friendly and informative atmosphere. We meet alternate months on usually the first Friday of the month in St. Mary's Church Hall, Eastland Road, Thornbury at 7.30 p.m.
We have talks from members guiding us through a particular area of wine, visits from wine merchants if possible and a summer visit to a vineyard as well as having the opportunity to participate in other wine-related activities. At present we have a few vacancies, so, if you would like to know more please contact me.
