The Photography group is for anyone interested in Photography. You don't have to have an expensive camera... a phone is fine. Basic techniques suitable for beginners together with more advanced techniques for the more experienced.

Meetings take place in the Stuart Room at the Chantry on the second Wednesday of the month at 10:15 for tea, coffee and biscuits. The meeting itself starts at 10:30 and lasts about an hour. Meetings are open to all members of Thornbury u3a.

There is no meeting in August. Just go out and take pictures instead!
Sending Images
When sending images. please resize them. We can resize your images, but if you make the images smaller, they are much easier for you to send by email.
The image size we use for projection in the tu3a Photography Group is: Maximum Width: 1024px, Maximum Height: 768px. For more advice on sizing images see the Photography Group tutorial on Sizing Images for Projection. Images should be jpg.

Normally we look for between 6 and 10 jpg images.
NOTE: This projection size is not the same as Thornbury Camera Club (They use 1600px x 1200px).
